 This looked like a gigantic shish-kabob probing thingie about to be poked into the Earth. It was a snow-low fog kinda morning and it just appeared out of the whiteness. Had to stop, fell flat on my face in a snow filled ditch getting to a better vantage point. Thank goodness for plastic cameras and lenses.
