 Hey, that's me. As a young'un. My Aunt made this photo during one of our cross country road trips. I think we were headed to Disneyland in California on this one. It's one of my all-time favs of myself, and it was made with my camera at the time, an Imperial Mark something or other. I still love road trips, and have a strong attraction to old highway signs like this. Now billboards have taken over, but occasionally you still find relics from the past, hand painted and fading in the Sun. One of these days-- when I'm independently wealthy, I'm going to open a gallery of photos like the one above of people standing by old signs like this along the highway.
